The Delaware County Children’s Special Advocacy Network known as the DCCSAN recently received a $3 thousand dollar grant.
This grant was distributed from the Grove Rotary Foundation. Executive Director Jill McAbee says the grant was given to them to assist with making improvements to their building. DCCSAN serves children in the community who have been abused.
“By making these improvements we are able to provide safer services for kids also feel like parents are more confident when they show up to our building now. We want parents to know that they are bringing their kids to a safe and professional environment and now the building shows that because of the Grove Rotary Grant,” says McAbee.
McAbee says they are also grateful for the grant because prior to receiving the improvements, visitors had to come through the back and not the entrance of the building.
